“Collection was prompt, guides friendly. Once in the cosy house guides briefed us and split us into groups of 8. Once kitted up there is a little walk down a trail lit with fairy lights to the water. The experience of floating in the lake was awesome and once the lights were turned off the stars and the aurora were awesome. Even in the thick suits it is cold so wear thick thermals and fleeces underneath. After 20/30 minutes floating we got out, had warm berry juice and warmed by the fire. Absolutely the best activity ever!”

Part way we stopped for coffee and doughnut. The ride is bumpy and it is cold. Wear thermals and another layer or 2 under the onsie they provide. Also I recommend wearing liner gloves under the mittens they provide for extra warmth. This excursion with Safartica was excellent and thr group was relatively small, about 10…”
