Levi: Northern Lights Campfire

1.Northern Lights Campfire

★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 127 reviews · 3 hours · from $108Our pick

Leave Levi by car or bus for an open-sky viewing spot, where an English-speaking guide builds a fire and serves grilled sausage, pastry, and hot drinks. You will spend about two hours outdoors waiting for the aurora. The northern lights are never guaranteed, but bad weather may allow a next-day reschedule by 16:00.

The lights are never guaranteed, but the setting and fireside meal give the evening a purpose either way.

Leave Levi at 9 pm for a three-hour Northern Lights hunt with hotel pickup, a local guide, campfire snacks, hot drinks, and national park entry included. Guides such as Adrian and Alex have added local stories and friendly help. Aurora sightings depend on clouds and solar activity, so bring warm clothing and realistic expectations.

“Basically sat round a fire talking, roasted marshmallows and sausages. We did feed the reindeers which was fun but that is all. Obviously it was not the guides fault there was no lights to see but the trip itself was not worth the money.”
